The beige fabric is etamine. The design motif was sourced from a magazine and used to create this composition. The difficulty of this type of embroidery is very high, as threads are removed and their cut edges are embroidered to create these squares, giving the appearance of lace (drawn thread work). This type of work is called Lefkaditiko.
It took half a year to finish this piece.
The stitches used were Lefkaditiko and satin stitch.
