A message from the creator

With an unimaginably unexpected surprise, our son honored me with his effort, presenting my hobby and my love for embroidery.

From the age of 8 to 78, the needles of my life have been my greatest source of relaxation, satisfaction, and creativity. I began with étamine, gobelin, and cross-stitch. I used to hide my needlework under my mattress when I was supposed to be sleeping, so my mother wouldn’t see me embroidering.

Later, as an adult, I worked, got married, and started a family. During that time, little by little, in my spare moments, my pleasant pastime became a true form of creation.

At first, my stitches were colorful reproductions, then I began adding or removing elements from the designs, and later I moved on to improvisations and original compositions - always with passion and curiosity for the outcome, and never for commercial gain. In many of the works, the choice of colors was inspired by living room's carpets.

The years passed, in different cities and with different memories, yet they were never empty or colorless. For each of us, time is different, but for everyone, it is precious.

“Mom, what are you doing? I’m preparing a surprise for you - you’ll never guess it!" I hope our child’s idea brings you a sense of refined beauty in fabrics and colors, and above all, stitches from Greece…

And that’s how this presentation began!
