It was made at the age of 10 in 1957. It was created to complement Work No.16, which at the time was very special because it depicted a subject from a very distant land: a far-off and imaginary world that was unknown back then.
The fabric is etamine. The design motif was sourced from a magazine and includes composition and repetition. Cross-stitch was used.
