The design was on stamped canvas (pre-printed canvas) and is inspired by the famous painting “The Milkmaid” by Johannes Vermeer (1658). A wooden frame was added to complete the piece.
This is one of the artist’s only two works in which the design was on stamped (pre-printed) canvas.
The canvas is thick. Cross-stitch was used.
