This work holds great sentimental value for the creator, as it was made at the age of 11 in 1957. At that time, this design was very special because it depicted a subject from a very distant land: a far-off and imaginary world that was unknown back then.
The fabric is etamine. The design motif was sourced from a magazine and involves composition and repetition. Cross-stitch was used.
